The BAIT x ASICS Gel Lyte III  BASICS Model-002 Guardian asics runners is the second pair in BAIT s BASICS Program and is designed to be an evolution on the first pair* in the pack, the BASICS Model-001 Vanquish.One way they achieve that is by placing the camo print that was defining feature of the Vanquish and placing reinforced metal wire mesh on top to sort of hide the print from common sight. The colors are a little bit more built for the winter months with an olive and black nailhead suede upper and orange (!) accents that really give it a good contrast.One thing that you might notice that s a little bit different from every other preview out there is that we decided to bring out the alternate laces that came with the Gel Lyte III (a very underrated but very welcome addition) and show you what they look like with both the orange and olive laces, not to mention what color we ended going with to wear out.

The Extra Butter x Asics Gel Epirus  California Mountain Snake is still trying to whet your whistle and this time we get a full reveal by way of a video. Here you finally get an eyeful of the snakeskin detailing on the side panel and black mesh underlays. The stark use of white and black also really plays well against the hits of red that fall on the heel and midsole. White leather with a black outline and snakeskin trim define this look and things get gory on the red speckled outsole that is made to mirror blood splatters.
