A potential new contract for restricted free agent Ryan Johansen continues to be in the dialogue stage. Johansens agent, Kurt Overhardt, confirmed to TSN that he is currently in contract discussions with Columbus. Overhardt said that the focus remains on a two-year bridge contract. The 22-year-old has been unable to reach a new deal with the team since his three-year entry-level contract expired after last season.
